Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has described the late Former Vice President of Nigeria Alex Ekwueme as a man of impeccable integrity, who served Nigeria selflessly. and had a vision of a Nigeria that would transcend being a mere country to become a nation.
He stated this at the Parade of honor held at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, ABUJA, to receive the remains of the late Dr. Alex Ekwueme.
Osinbajo led a government delegation that includes, Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Speaker House of Representative Yakubu Dogara, Governors, Ministers, Government officials and political associates.

After Prayers, Osinbajo handed over the remains of Late Dr. Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme to the family after a guard of honour was mounted for him.
The IDE of Oko kingdom, who died on November the Nineteenth, 2017 in London, will be flown in this Nigeria Airforce Aircraft to Enugu for Internment.
