The Yewaland Development Association has held a reception and lecture to honour the immediate past Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Rahmon Bello with a call on all Yewa indigenes to ensure development of the region.
The lecture was titled “Steaming the Erosion of Economic and Political Agitations of the Underdeveloped West district” delivered by the former ICAN President, Felix Kolawole Bajomo.
Bajomo said the agitations of the people of Ogun west for first placement is of utmost importance as the state prepares for the next general election.
According to him and other speakers, this includes equitable distribution of state resources, and the claim to the exulted governorship position in the state.
The indigenes of Yewaland however lament poor infastructure and road network at the Ogun west district.
