The Home-based Super Eagles will get 400,000 dollars as prize money for coming second at the just concluded African Nations Championship, CHAN.
This is against the initially reported $750,000.
Hosts and champions Morocco will pocket 750,000 dollars with semi-finalists Sudan and Libya to pocket 250,000 dollars each.
The 4 teams that crashed out at the quarter-final stage, Namibia, Zambia, Angola and Congo will each get 175,000 dollars, while the 3rd-placed teams in each of the 4 preliminary groups will get $125,000 each.

The 4th placed teams in each of the 4 groups will smile to the bank with 100,000 dollars.
