Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has assented to the N104.3bn 2017 budget passed by the state Assembly.
The governor, on December the 21st, 2018 presented a budget estimate of N97billion to the House of Assembly for consideration and approval.
The budget was however increased by the legislators to N104bilion after considering certain indices.
Speaking shortly after signing the budget into law, Ishaku thanked the lawmakers for painstakingly going through the budget.
He also highlighted some of his achievements and pleaded with the people of the state to continue living in peace , without which he said the budget would not be meaningful.
