Osun state government has said all roads constructed by the current administration are of standard and will stand the test of time. The state Commissioner for works, Kazeem Salami who stated this in Osogbo also tasked residents on proper maintenance of the roads.
TVC’s Rafiu Hammed reports that road construction is one of the capital projects of Rauf Aregbesola administration and a lot of funds have therefore been committed into it.
Aside from 10 kilometers constructed in each of the 30 local governments in the state, various rural road projects have also been completed.
But of note is Oba Adesoji Aderemi dual carriage way with four bridges in Osogbo, the first of its kind in the state which some experts in road construction rated high in terms of quality and standard.
The governor also constructed a 2.8km Ola Iya to Ita-Olookan road now tagged “workers drive” to compensate the state workforce for their perseverance.
Residents of the state are also assured of completion of Gbongan-Akoda road before the expiration of the present administration in November.
