As politicians prepare for the September 28 start date for political campaigns, Segun Showunmi has reaffirmed his readiness to run an issue-based campaign.
The factional governorship candidate for Ogun PDP noted that he is the best candidate to take over the affairs of the state in 2023 and that he is sincerely committed to repositioning the Gateway State.
Speaking on the Ladi Adebutu faction, Segun Showunmi noted that the foundation of the primary was faulty.
While reacting on the allegation that he was sponsored to scuttle the chances of the People’s Democratic party in the forthcoming 2023 elections, Segun Showunmi said his desire is to facilitate development by improving the socioeconomic condition of the state.
He added that nobody can buy him off the ballot in the next general elections.
Segun Showunmi was the spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign in 2019.
