Ogun Customs intercepts smuggled goods worth N170m

The Ogun state command of the Nigeria Customs Service is ready to ensure arrest of smugglers and their goods as the command renew its strategies to reduce smuggling activities along the route.

The Comptroller of Customs in Ogun state, Sani Madugu made this known while showcasing some of the seized items at the Idiroko office of the command.

He noted that two suspects were arrested in connection with the seized goods and they shall be prosecuted.

He listed the items which include 20 foreign used vehicles, 18 means of conveyance, 1060 bags of rice, motorcycles, vegetable oil, among others.
