The Center for Democracy and Development said the challenges experienced by women in the informal sector may impact negatively on how they relate to political and economic issues. This formed the discussions at a meeting organized by the center to ensure that women have the right opportunities that will influence the country’s economic growth.
Some of the discussants called for more inclusion of women in policy making.
