Police in Delta State have apprehended one Meshack Siunuphro, who fled with a Mercedes Benz GLB 250 worth 55 million naira from an Abuja car stand while test driving, and the vehicle was recovered.
Commissioner of Police in the State, Wale Abbas who paraded the suspect, a human trafficker alongside others at the Command’s Headquarters, urged members of the public to report any suspicious persons.
A week ago, a car dealer in Abuja raised an alarm after a customer who was test-driving a Mercedes Benz GLB 250 absconded with N55 million Worth vehicle.
The police in Delta have in the custody the vehicle and the suspect who claimed he is a student of University of Istanbul, Turkey
A 42-year old Pastor was also arrested for allegedly trafficking two ladies to Senegal.
Other suspects were also arrested for Armed robbery, kidnapping, fraud and other crimes.
Commissioner of police who attributed the success recorded in crime fighting to proactive strategy the command adopted, is also seeking for more cooperation from members of the public
The police also recovered 5 AK-47 Rifles, 5 Pump Action guns, 24 locally-made guns, 489 live ammunitions and 8 stolen vehicles.
