Muslims across the world have been advised to cohabit peacefully among themselves and shun actions that can paint them in a bad light.
This was made known at the 57th Annual Jalsa Salana organised by the Ahmadiyyah Muslims in the United Kingdom were hundreds of thousands of Muslims gathered in order to foster unity among nations.
50,000 people from more than 120 countries are seeking to benefit spiritually from this gathering.
They have converged on Olton, Hampshire in the United Kingdom where the Ahmadiyya Muslim community’s annual Jalsa Salana is underway.
This convention is the largest Muslim gathering in the United Kingdom.
2023 marks the beginning of another major convention since covid-19 pandemic which led to the imposition of restrictions of large gatherings.
The event seeks to promote spiritual development, religious education, and an opportunity for Ahmadis to strengthen their faith and social interaction among members of the Muslim Community.
The leader of the community, Mirza Masroor Ahmad presided over one of the key events at the convention, hoisting of the flags.
Some members of the community among the delegation from Nigeria, believe that this year’s convention is another rare opportunity to foster a sense of unity, brotherhood, and devotion.
The three day convention will have several sessions of inspirational speakers on subjects such as children, women and the scientific evidence of God’s presence.
