All Progressives Congress chieftain and the Ologbotsere of Warri kingdom, Ayiri Emami says President Bola Tinubu has given assurance of bringing development to the Itsekiri people of Delta state.
He spoke at this year’s General Assembly of Ologbotsere descendants in Warri
The word Ologbotsere means prime minister and in Itsekiri these descendants of Ologbotsere from all over the world gather annually to make some far reaching decision and celebrate their rich cultural heritage.
Such gathering comes with enough fun fare.
then Ologbotsere of Warri kingdom addresses the Assembly in his local dialect and later spoke to journalists about the olu of Warri installing a new Ologbotsere and his meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
On the Itsekiri leadership tussle, the Ologbotsere descendants general assembly insists on pursuing all cases in court to its logical end.
The Ologbotsere descendants believe that everyone in Itsekiri must fight to uphold the rich culture and traditions of the Itsekiri.
