The Supreme Court is currently delivering judgment in the appeal filed by the People’s Democratic Party and the Labour.
At the hearing of the appeal on 23rd October, the court had reserved judgment for a date to be communicated to parties.
In a notice of judgment dated 25th October signed by the registrar of the court Zainab Garba, the court informed the respective appellants that the judgment would be delivered today.
The appellants in their appeal are challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 presidential election
National security adviser Nuhu Ribadu, alongside the chief of Staff to the president Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, National chairman of the APC Abdullahi Ganduje and Seyi Tinubu are in court to witness the Judgment.
The first appeal to be decided on is that filed by the PDP, the 7 member panel is led by Justice Inyang Okoro.
