Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated Bola Tinubu on his victory as President of Nigeria by the Supreme Court.
The Governor made the remarks during an event in Osogbo, the state capital, on Thursday.
Adeleke stated that with the judicial resolution of the disputes stemming from the 2023 Presidential Election in Nigeria, the attention should now be on addressing the nation’s challenges.
He said the Apex Court’s decision marked the beginning of a new age of healing and nation building for the entire country.
Adeleke said President Tinubu’s triumph at the Supreme Court would by all means enable him focus more on tackling Nigeria’s socio-economic and security challenges.
The governor, while expressing his good wishes to President Tinubu on the Supreme Court victory, also pledged his commitment to work with him to move Nigeria forward.
He said: “On behalf of the good people of Osun State, I congratulate President Tinubu on his judicial victory at the apex court.
“It is my hope that your presidency will bring progress, unity, and prosperity to our nation, and I want to restate my commitment to partner you in offering good governance for our people.”
Adeleke praised the Nigerian judiciary for rising to the situation and praised the opposition candidates for using constitutional ways to express their discontent, thus expanding the country’s electoral jurisprudence.
