The Armed forces say they will deal decisively with anyone or group of people that will ferment trouble during Saturday’s Governorship Election in Imo State.
The General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army Enugu, Major General Hassan Dada said this while addressing Officers and Men deployed for the off circle Election in Imo State
According to Major General Dada, the soldiers deployed have been trained and mobilized to maintain security before, during and after the election and warned that anyone who attempts to disrupt the process will be severely dealt with.
Meanwhile, In Imo state, sensitive materials have been moved to the 27 local government areas in the state in a process that has been adjudged smooth and transparent by representatives of the different political parties that witnessed the exercise.
