Former President Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated residents of Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi States on the conduct of Off Cycle Governorship Elections in their States.
The Former President who spoke to Newsmen after voting in his Otuoke hometown Ward in Bayelsa State said it is a good thing that States have the opportunity to elect their leaders.
He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for the improvements in the process of the Election.
Mr Jonathan however called on the National Assembly to find a way to ensure that there are no off cycle Elections like it is in the 3 States and Others who are also having off cycle polls.
