Simultaneously, they engaged residents, emphasizing the critical significance of safeguarding and conserving the environment.

With tools in hand, these volunteers in their numbers took time out to clean the shores of Alpha beach in Lekki.
Beyond the physical cleanup, the initiative served as a platform to educate residents of this community, on the need to imbibe sustainable practices in promoting a cleaner environment.
Some participants here believe such initiatives like this will not only change perception about the environment but will ensure a liveable planet for the next generation.
The clean up exercise was held simultaneously in 28 locations across the country and in the six geo political zones where the volunteers have targeted areas that require urgent clean up.
