Nigerians should brace up and put their hopes in God in the new year.
Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission stated this at the 2023 crossover service held at the church headquarters in Lagos with the theme of the 2024 year of great and mighty things.

Worshipers started arriving early for the crossover service.
Inside the auditorium, worshippers that came earlier were on their feet as they offer praises for seeing the last day of the year.
Mounting the pulpit, the Bishop started dishing out prayers for Nigerians and Nigeria.
This was as the church looked forward to the count down.
He said its not going to be an easy year across the world.
Members and invited guests spoke on their goals and expectations for the country.
Away from the church we could see fireworks in the air as we drove down to Ikeja.
The mood is exciting at Makinde Street as those here danced to music coming from the DJ.
They say it has become a tradition for them.
They are hopeful that the new year will be a new beginning for the country.
