Operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Ondo State, has arrested 29 suspected criminals across the state.
The suspects included an ex-convict, who was involved in a robbery attack four days after he was released from a correctional centre.
This is the first breakthrough for operatives of Amotekun Corps in Ondo State in the new year.
The arrest was carried at various locations in the state.
Their offences range from kidnapping, robbery to illegal possession of fire arms.
One of them is Simeon Matthew, an ex-convict, who was recently released from a correctional centre.
He was arrested for his involvement in stealing and drug peddling, three days after his release.
The commander of Amotekun also reacted to report that a community in the state was overwhelmed by some invaders, describing the story as a blatant lie.
