Reports reaching TVC News from Plateau State has it that several houses and many property belonging to residents of Mangu community have been burnt and vandalized following a misunderstanding between some herders and a native.
A 24 hours Curfew has been imposed in the Mangu town ,the headquarters of the Council area by the State Governor with immediate effect.
An eye witness that spoke with Tvc news says many houses belonging to the Herders community and that of the natives were been set ablaze in retaliation since the situation started Evening of Tuesday.
Security operatives have been deployed to the affected areas to calm the situation as well as maintain law and order.
