The new Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Enugu State, Cyprian Otoibhi has promised to fight kidnapping and vandalism in the state.
Mr. Otoibhi spoke after a show-of-force by officers and men of NSCDC within Enugu metropolis.

The newly posted commandant of NSCDC said he is determined to sustain the tempo in ensuring they contribute effectively to the security of the state.
To demonstrate it’s readiness, the command embarked on a show of force through major streets in the state metropolis.
He identified mild security challenges and he is determined to partner with other security agencies in the state.
In line with his core mandate, the New NSCDC commandant assured he will deploy unique strategy to secure States and National Assets from Vandalism.
The show of force operation started from the command headquarters at New-market through Coal camp, Agbani road – Enugu/Ph express road- Independence layout-New-heaven rd- Enugu/Abakiliki rd-Emene-Nike Rd – Abakpa -82 Div Rd – old Artisan back to HQ.
