Operation Safe Haven arrests six bandits, gunrunner in Plateau

The special taskforce codenamed operation safe Haven in Plateau State has announced the arrest of six bandits and gunrunner in the state

This is part of their efforts to arrest the perpetrators of the Christmas Eve attacks that killed scores in Bokkos and Mangu council areas in the state.

TVC Senior reporter, Funom Joshua in Plateau State reports that the vow to arrest the perpetrators of the Christmas Eve attacks in many villages,by the leadership of Operation safe Haven in Plateau State is yielding positive results.

And, in keeping with that commitment, certain bandits and gunrunners involved in the attacks were apprehended during a recent operation by troops at various sites based on state intelligence.

The current operation resulted in the recovery of several rifles and ammo.

In response to the development, the head of the Bedroom Youth Molders Association, a community devastated by the killings, praised the GOC’s great desire to put his words into action.

Plateau residents are advised to work with troops to clear the state of all criminal elements.
