Extend hands of love to the poor, vulnerable, others – Zamfara Monarch tells elites

The Emir of Birnin Magaji, Dan Ali Alhaji Husaini Mode Usman has called on his subjects and wealthy Muslims to embibe the culture of helping the needy, especially at this trying time.

He said times are hard and many cannot afford food on their tables due to the current economic hardship in the country

The Emir made the call while addressing the people of Birnin Magaji Emirate. He added that assisting the needy will attract the blessings of Almighty Allah, especially at this period where life is difficult to ordinary Nigerians

The monarch therefore, emphasised the importance of following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW, which includes lending a hand of love to the needy and less privileged during Sallah festivities

The Birnin Magaji paramount ruler again enjoined his people to use the Sallah period and pray for peace and tranquility to reign in the Emirate, Zamfara State and Nigeria as a whole

Emir Dan Ali Mode further commended the Zamfara state Government for the total renovation of Government secondary school Birnin Magaji, and other developmental projects embarked upon in the area

The member of the House of Representatives, representing Kaura Namoda Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, Aminu Sani Jaji, and other well to do individuals from the Emirate were applauded for providing assistance to the poor and vulnerable before and during the Sallah celebrations

The Monarch prayed God to reward them Aboundatly

While congratulating Governor Dauda Lawal and entire people of Zamfara State for witnessing this year’s Sallah, the Emir prayed God to shower his blessings to upon the Governor and leaders at all levels for a better Zamfara State

Residents of the area were also enjoined to clear all drainages and waterways to protect their areas from flooding.
