Former senator, Shehu Sani, has called on the government to reopen the government science college Kagara after 3 years of being locked down because of insecurity.
The School was closed after 27 boys and teachers were kidnapped from their dormitory.
The Kidnap of students from their dormitories In February 2021 was an incident that sparked public outrage.
Since then the school has been shut, and sadly now serves as a military base for the soldiers who are fighting banditry in that area.
The Students here were transferred to Ahmadu Bahago secondary through an exchange program to continue their education.
The class of 84 from the science college are joining forces in an advocacy to ensure it’s reopening.
