Cross River State Police Command has paraded some suspects in connection with various criminal activities at the Command Headquarters in Calabar.
The suspects, who are involved in different crimes including kidnapping, armed robbery ,one possession of firearms, cultism were apprehended from different location across the state during investigation and operations and were found with incriminating items, including:
– Mobile phones
– Laptops
– Locally manufactured pistols
– Charms
During the parade, some of the suspects pleaded guilty to the charges brought against them and begged for mercy.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Irene Ugbo, The parade of suspects is a testament and determination of the command to tackle crime head-on and ensure that cross river state is a safe haven for law-abiding citizens.
