The senator representing Edo north senatorial district ,Adams Oshiomhole has cleared the air on his stance against the incumbent governor, Godwin Obaseki to be reelected for second term in office as governor in 2020.
He told the youths , traders ,Market women amongst others in Benin on the need to vote the right candidate in the forthcoming governorship election.
Senator Oshiomhole says his stance against Obaseki is not personal but based on principle and the need for good governance.
He said that his primary concern is the development and progress of Edo state and that he believes Obaseki has not lived up to the expectations of the people.
The former Governor emphasized the importance of using their votes wisely to ensure that the APC candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo is elected as Governor.
