Mr Akeredolu, who was also former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), died of prostate cancer on December 27, 2023.
Celebrating his posthumous birthday, the state chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) , described him as selfless leader.
According to a statement issued by the party through its spokesperson, Alex Kalejaiye, the former Governor contributions in all sectors, including Health, Education, road construction and repairs can not be forgotten in a hurry.
The party said the former Governor was an unrepentant advocate for justice, fair play, and true democracy.
