Police Arrest Man For Killing Father In Maiduguri

The Borno State Police Command has arrested a police officer for allegedly shooting his father to death in Maiduguri the Borno State Capital.

The police says it will ensure justice is served on the perpetrator in order to serve as deterrent to others.

The news of a police officer who shot his father to death has spread like wild fire in Maiduguri.

Many are still doubting it this is just a mere rumor or true.

We visited the police headquarters in maiduguri where the police public Relations officer Nahum Daso Explained the situation.

First, he validates the story and further gave details on the issue.

He says this act would not be swept under the carpet.

The suspect was not brought to us for interview as the police say investigation is still ongoing.

The police urged Residents to always report suspicious movement around them to security operatives for prompt action.

The police assured they will thoroughly prosecute the matter.
