The Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation wants the Federal Government to further ease the processes of doing business in Nigeria
The chairman of the organisation says many Nigerians in the Diaspora are ready to invest in the country but are limited by business conditions and inadequate infrastructure
The Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) have been participating in the National Diaspora Day organised by NIDCOM.
The group according to the Chairman have been in the country for about 2 weeks to organise ICT training for youths, he says about 600 Nigerian youths participated in the training
Mr. Victor Ubani, the Chairman says opportunities like this exists in the organisation but they would need an enabling environment to ensure they give back more to the country.
He said one of the priorities at the moment is also to allow the over 17 million Nigerians in Diaspora to be able to exercise their constitutional rights to vote in the next cycle of General elections in Nigeria
He encouraged other diasporans to look into investing as Nigeria is one of the countries in the world with the highest guaranteed returns on investments and more importantly, because there is no place like home.
