In Kwara state, more student bodies and youth organizations have distanced themselves from the planned protest.
Addressing journalists in Ilorin, representatives of various students bodies, National Youth Council of Nigeria and People With Disabilities in Kwara state said protest is not the solution to the current economic challenges.
The said dialogue and constructive engagement are needed instead of confrontation.

They implored the youth not to allow themselves to be manipulated or used as agents of destruction.
