The police claimed that an unidentified person on Wednesday afternoon dropped an Improvised Explosive Device ( EID) near the custom’s fence and escaped.
The police spokesperson said, ” On 31/07/ 24 at about 16:00 hrs,a police officer reported at EOD- CBRN base at Ikeja that, while he was on his way along Mobolaji Bank – Anthony Way, Ikeja, he sighted an unregistered white Toyota car that parked on the main road close to the PMF 23 barracks and a young man alighted from the car carefully, dropped a bag by the side of the Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operations Unit fence, returned into the and zoomed off .
