Southeast Bids Farewell To Former Ohanaeze President, Iwuanyanwu

Governor of Enugu state has described Former Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu as a trail blazer whose tireless commitment and visions for Igbo renaissance, remain indelible in their minds.

Mr. Mbah who spoke in an event tagged a day of tribute in his honour in Enugu, challenged Igbo leaders to build on the cause he lived.

Top government functionary, serving and former political Office holders, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Umuada Igbo, friends and family members gathered in a solemn moment to pay tribute to Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.

The life and time of Dr.Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu remains indelible as acknowledged by Many speakers.

Governor Peter Mbah described former Ohanaeze President General, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu as a beacon of hope not only to Igbo race but Nigeria at large.

To many, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu’s achievements transcend South East, as a consummate entrepreneur, Engineer, Newspaper publisher, airline operator and the owner of former Iwuanyanwu Football Club.

For those who knew Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, it was a life spent to improve humanity, through his several interventions in public and private lives.

His first son and prominent Igbo leaders bid the Igbo leader farewell.

His body first arrived Ohanaeneze President Secretariat where he last served as the president General, as former PG, Prominent Igbo leaders paid their last respect.

The people resolved that Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu contributions to enhance Igbo renaissance, restore Igbo status in committee of states and ensure they Soar in Academic, Social and economic activities would not be forgotten in a haste.
