Governor Uba Sani has approved a new minimum wage of N72,000 for Kaduna State civil servants, effective November 2024.
This announcement was made in a statement by Ibraheem Musa, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on Thursday.
In a further move to support workers, the governor is set to launch a Free Transportation Scheme with the release of 100 CNG buses to transport civil servants to and from work.
According to the Governor, this initiative demonstrates his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of workers and supporting vulnerable residents across Kaduna State.
He also said that the move was aimed at improving the living conditions of the low-income, the vulnerable and the underserved communities.
