The Nigeria Governors Forum is holding its 11th physical meeting this year to discuss issues of national importance.
On the agenda for the meeting is an update on stamp duties, this follows the federal government’s refusal to share the Stamp Duty Fund with the 36 state governors and some consultants.

The governors will also be briefed by the minister of Education on the state of affairs in the sector, including the alarming statistics of Out-of-School Children in the country.
The Deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu is expected to give an update of the ongoing constitutional amendment process in the National Assembly.
It is unclear if the matter of the proposed tax reforms will be discussed by the Governors, after their suggestion at the last National Economic Council meeting to President Bola Tinubu to withdraw the bill and allow for more consultation and consensus.
But President Bola Tinubu urged them to go to the National Assembly and make inputs in the legislative process before the bill is passed.
