Funding has been identified as one of the major challenges confronting the growth of education across Nigeria and to promote qualitative education, notable personalities and groups must support the less privileged in the society.
This was made known during the presentation of scholarship awards funded by the Senator representing Ogun West to the people of the area.
In order to support the education of Nigerian youth and to equip them with necessary skills that will make them relevant in the scheme of things in the country and beyond, the Senator representing Ogun West has organised a scholarship programme for youths in the area.

The representative of the the Senator at the programme said education remains a strategic tool for a country to build a better future for its youths and for any society to produce leaders that can contribute positively to the growth of the country, education must be prioritized.
He said the beneficiaries were drawn from different tertiary institutions across the country.
Leaders in the area and other key players in the project appreciate the Senator and urged other privileged people in the society to support the government in investing in the Education of the youth.
Beneficiaries say the scholarship will assist them to reach their goals and help their parents.
Those in attendance include, education administrators, traditional rulers, student groups, youth associations among others.
