The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in the state Adijat Adeleye and the wife of the Governor, Bamidele Abiodun made this known during an advocacy walk in commemoration of 16 days activism on elimination of all forms of Gender Based Violence
The women moved round the major streets in Abeokuta before going to the State Assembly to meet the Speaker and other lawmakers in the state to seek their supports on pending bills relating to the rights and protection of women.
