The police authorities will continue to instill discipline among the rank and file in the force to ensure professionalism.
The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Oladipo who spoke at the Police training school where 243 newly recruited constables are receiving training, said the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun is determined to instill discipline in the force.
The commissioner was accompanied by top police officers in the command on this mission.
He did not mince words as he stressed the need for these newly recruited constables to embrace discipline.
The commissioner who emphasized the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun’s stance of discipline and professionalism in the force, warned them to respect human rights.
Oladipo also asked them corruption under any guise, saying that protection of Nigerians is their primary assignment.
The commander of Police training school, Oyin Akoko, Adebayo also harped on self discipline.
The newly recruits constables are expected to be good ambassadors of the force and avoid any form of distraction.
