Niger Delta Ex-agitators have called on the federal government to disregard the alleged blackmail of the Chairman of Tantita Security Services, Government Ekpemupolo and the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dennis Otuaro.
For the past two years, the fight against oil theft in the Niger Delta has been led by surveillance contractors, particularly Tantita Security Services Limited.
However, recent damaging allegations against the chairman of the surveillance company, Government Ekpemupolo, as well as other leaders in the Niger Delta, have not been well received by key players in this oil-rich region.
During an extended meeting in Warri, some ex-agitators issued a warning to those defaming the former freedom fighter and the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dennis Otuaro.
The allegations are described as cheap blackmail aimed at undermining the achievements of renowned Niger Delta leaders in recent times.
The ex-agitators also express confidence in the Niger Delta leaders to sustain the notable achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across the Niger Delta region.
