Thirteen passengers were burnt to death in a road accident that occurred on Owo-Ikare-Akoko road in the northern part of Ondo State on Saturday.
A head-on collision between two commercial buses resulted in an immediate fire.
Security agents, including men from the Federal Road Safety Corps and Nigeria Police, have since arrived at the location.
The remains of the victims have been removed from the burnt vehicles and deposited at the morgue.
The state sector Commander of FRSC, Samuel Ibitoye confirmed the incident.
