President Bola Tinubu will on Saturday inaugurate a series of projects executed by the governor of Enugu state, Peter Mbah.
The announcement was made by Governor Mbah in a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
During the state visit, the governor said President Tinubu will inaugurate key initiatives aimed at advancing education, healthcare, and infrastructure in Enugu.
According to him, the projects include 30 completed and equipped Smart Green Schools—part of a broader project involving 260 schools under construction across the state—and 60 Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres out of 260 currently being developed to ensure accessible healthcare for residents.
“Other projects to be unveiled include the multi-auditorium Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 urban roads, and a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre equipped with 150 AI-enabled surveillance vehicles, enhancing security and positioning Enugu as a hub of innovation and safety.
Governor Mbah also described the visit as a significant milestone, emphasizing that the commissioned projects reflect a commitment to improving the quality of life in Enugu and aligning with President Tinubu’s vision for national development.
“The President’s visit will be a testament to our shared vision that is taking shape,” Governor Mbah stated, expressing excitement about welcoming the President to the state.
