The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has extended an invitation to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, the Director general of the National Intelligence Agency, Director General of the Department of State Services and heads of Other intelligence and Security agencies in the Country.
The invitation according to the Senate is a fact finding mission to unravel the facts behind the issues raised by an American Congressman on the alleged funding of the Boko Haram terror group and others by the United States Agency For International Development.
The Senate said the move is necessary to ensure the preservation of the territorial integrity and enhance Nigeria’s national Security.
The session is expected to be held behind closed doors due to the sensitive nature of the issues to be discussed.
