The Nasarawa State House Assembly has confirmed sixteen commissioner nominees sent in for screening by Governor Abdullahi Sule.
At the screening, the nominees assured the Assembly of their readiness to support the government in delivering the dividends of democracy to the state.
It was yet another legislative day for members and principal officers of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly on Thursday.

Lawmakers moved into a committee of the whole to screen the nominees.
Members had the opportunity to quiz the 16 commissioner nominees on critical state issues.
Out of the 16 commissioner nominees, 3 were females who enjoyed the privilege of the house to take a bow and go.
After screening seven nominees on the first day, the house met as a committee of the whole on the second day to continue screening.
After the two-day screening, the house reconvened in plenary and confirmed the 16 commissioner nominations.
The list of the new commissioner designate will be given to the state governor, and the inauguration will be scheduled at a later date.
