An articulated vehicle has been involved in an accident on Felele Road in Lokoja, Kogi State, causing significant damage to the road and leading to mild gridlock.
Although no lives were lost, the vehicle and cartons of tiles scattered across the road have mildly obstructed traffic. Rescue efforts are currently underway to clear the scene and restore normal traffic flow.
This incident comes just days after a tragic accident on the same Felele axis, which claimed the lives of some students of the Federal University Lokoja and the driver of a shuttle bus.
Although the cause of the accident is unknown at the time of reporting, eyewitnesses who spoke to TVC News wondered what the situation would have been like if the university had not been shut down, especially since today is a Monday.
