The people of Kwara North are asking the other two senatorial districts in Kwara State to support them to produce the next governor of the State.
This is just as the people of Moro local government are equally agitating for a national assembly seat within the northern senatorial district.
Since the return to democracy in 1999, Kwara central and Kwara South have produced four governors while Kwara North is yet to produce any.
Their previous attempts have yielded no result.
They seem to be determined and intentional this time around to produce the next governor.
The first open effort is this inter-religious prayer.
In the same Kwara North, it is only Moro local government area that has neither produced a senator nor a house of representatives member.
This explains why the agitation for Kwara North to produce the next governor and Moro local government to produce the national assembly members is rife.
To achieve this, unity of the people of the district is key.
