Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Governor of Ondo State, says his administration is eager to fulfill the promises made to the people.
He spoke at the swearing-in ceremony for newly appointed and reappointed members of the State Executive Council.
Governor Aiyedatiwa directed the authorities to begin their duties as soon as possible and to produce tangible results.
He highlighted that his administration’s priority is on speed and correctness in governance, and that newly sworn-in officials must tap into the seven-point developmental plan.
He encouraged the appointees to embrace cooperation and collaborate successfully with career officers, Permanent Secretaries, and Accounting Officers in their respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
To promote accountability and efficiency, the Governor announced the implementation of performance measurement systems, emphasizing that his government would not tolerate corruption, indolence, or disloyalty.
Responding on behalf of the appointees, Taiwo Fasoranti, the new SSG, thanked the governor for his faith in them.
