Nigeria is looking to establish safer mining techniques, in order to guarantee the safety of its people and enhance government’s goal of diversification of the nation’s economy. Minister of State for Mines and Steel, disclosed this at a news briefing, ahead of the second International Conference on Lead Poisoning.
The Minister and the collaborating partner, Doctors Without Borders, said the focus is on safer mining practices, which prevents contamination.
