The Director, Health Of Mother Earth Foundation, Nnimmo Bassey said the militarisation of the Niger Delta will not be necessary if the Federal Government uses the region’s resources to develop the area.
Bassey was in Yenagoa as a guest speaker at a function, and described security impediments along the roads and creeks of the oil-rich region as degrading.
