The national coordinator, Abdullahi Kirawa says the seizures include 195 sacks of pangolin scales, an export prohibited item valued at 8.4 billion naira, truck loads of more than 8000 bags of 50kg foreign Parboiled rice and a forty foot container of fireworks and crackers.
Others include containers of second hand clothings, performance enhancement drugs and kegs of groundnut oil.
The smuggled goods were intercepted along the Land border areas around Ogun State axis, while the 195 sacks of pangolin scales were evacuated from a ware house in Ogun State.
