The House of Representatives’ Committee on Ethics and Privileges has begun investigation into the allegations made by former Appropriations Committee chairman, Abdulmumin Jibrin that the 2016 Budget was padded.
At the maiden meeting, the Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business and mover of the motion directing the probe told the committee that there are internal mechanisms for tabling grievances rather than going public.
