The need for diversification of the economy has been reiterated as the way out of the recession facing the country.Senator representing Lagos central district, Senator Oluremi Tinubu made the statement in Lagos during a Town hall meeting with her constituents.
TVC News correspondent, Ola Awakan, reports that it is the 19th Lagos central senatorial district’s Town hall meeting organised by Senator Oluremi Tinubu with the theme ‘redefining democracy through service’.
The Senator believes service to humanity is the greatest legacy.
She started the day by distributing KVA generators to the first 13 people to arrive at the venue and free health screening to the elderly. After an incisive report of her activities at the senate, she highlighted her plans to empower 650 Widows.
The day was also used as a medium to celebrate Senator Remi Tinubu’s 56th birthday.
She said the glory of Nigeria can be restored again if we live in peace and diversify our economy.
