An Abuja high court sitting in Maitama, has granted bail to Lawmaker representing Kogi west, Senator Dino Melaye.
The bail was granted following an application filed by the senator’s Counsel Mike Ozekhome, seeking the enforcement of his fundamental Human rights, to be released on bail on grounds of ill-health pending when he will be arraigned by the police.
Senator Melaye was first taken to a Police hospital in Garki where he was then taken to another hospital, in line with a remand the Police said it obtained from court to keep Senator Melaye for 14 days.
